Bermuda Is a Natural Tourist Destination

Bermuda, typically thought of as one island, is a collection of 181 beautiful islands located in the Sargasso Sea in the Atlantic Ocean. The largest of the islands of Bermuda, known as Main Island, is 21 square miles in size. Bermuda is a British Overseas Territory, with Hamilton as its capital. With its official language being English, it makes for a very popular vacation destination for North Americans and Europeans alike as many travelers (consciously or unconsciously) "take to" vacation destinations where the native tongue is that which they themselves speak.

It should come as no surprise to many that tourism is one of Bermuda's main industries, with international business topping their list. While tourism numbers were down in 2020 due to the pandemic and the subsequent limitations that were placed on businesses and countries, Bermuda's open borders now have resulted in big rebounds in tourism numbers. Visitor numbers are expected to keep improving in all areas as more and more people are now able to get out and travel internationally again.
